ProMéxico CEO, Francisco N. González Díaz, and the President of the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra), Rodrigo Alpízar Vallejo, signed today a collaboration agreement in Mexico City to boost Mexican companies' exports and strengthen their international presence.

The agreement supports the creation of a work program that will help establish a common agenda. The work plan will focus on five main axes.

  1. Linking Canancintra affiliates to domestic supply chains to increase the added value of exports.
  2. Attracting more and higher foreign investment to the country and strengthening global value chains.
  3. Promoting, backed up by ProMéxico's Roadmaps, strategies that strengthen the Mexican industry and increase its innovation capacity.
  4. Supporting the participation of Mexican companies in missions and shows abroad to increase their presence in international markets.
  5. Promoting an ambitious training program to prepare Mexican companies for an optimal performance in the global arena.

"This agreement is a two-way road that will bring us closer to a more prosperous and inclusive future for all Mexicans," said González Díaz.

With more than 50 thousand affiliates, Canacintra is the industrial chamber with the largest representation and widest territorial presence in Mexico.
